Born in the mountains in 1980, I used to accompany my father from the age of 5 to go after guinea-fowl, partridges and pheasants …
I have a passion for hunting and the mountains in every form (hiking, mountaineering, ski touring, canyoning…), and so it was natural that I should start hunting in the mountains. Thus it was that my first big game animal was an izard.
Then, wanting to go farther afield, I went to Africa (Benin, Central Africa, Cameroon and Tanzania) where I started to work as a guide in both the savannah and the equatorial forest.
On returning to France, I created my company to be able to continue sharing my passion for hunting.
I can offer you mountain hunts for the izard, the mouflon and the chamois, in regions chosen for the quality of their populations and their topography which makes them easy of access for “weekend mountaineers”.
For the izard and the mouflon I work in the Pyrénées-Orientales; as for the chamois, that takes place in the Alpes de Haute Provence, Isère and the Drome.

Beforehand, we will decide together on the chosen species (izard / mouflon / chamois) and the dates and place for the hunt, and all that information is set out in the booking contract.
We meet during the evening of the day before the first hunting day to get to know each other. One of the hunting guides from HUNT IN FRANCE explains to you how the following day’s hunt will proceed and we decide on the time to meet up (PLEASE NOTE that we leave very early for the mountain in order to be at the first observation post at daybreak).
the hunting guide from HUNT IN FRANCE collects you at the meeting point and you leave for the whole day - you will have packed meals. The guide will show you the game observed and insofar as possible, he will give you a maximum of information (species, sex, age range, and explanations about the trophy). If the game observed is the one that you covet, the guide will help you to approach it and place you in a firing position. If there’s no positive outcome on that first day, your guide will give you the programme for the next day.
